I was incredibly impressed by this short story. A lot of times the shorter stories leave me wanting more, but that was not the case with this one. From the first page, I was completely engaged and I remained that way till the very end. The writing is very good and the book has been well edited. I was particularly impressed by the dialogue, which many lesser-known authors fail to deliver on. The book was satisfyingly gruesome with great character development considering how short it was. If you enjoy Revenge thrillers, this book is highly recommended. I would give it 4.5 out of 5 stars and will be purchasing the next book in the series.Product details

A well written and humorous story about two retired firemen becoming vigilantes against pedophiles. Their training, knowledge and experience help them in their endeavors to punish the paedos. I liked the story so much, I read it twice.
Two old retired firefighters becoming vigilantes to mete out much deserved punishment on known pedophiles. They almost get away Scott free until a female detective starts putting the pieces together---but without any solid evidence to convict.
Although I wasn't sure what to expect, this story was not it. In fact, it was a whole lot more. A well written piece of fiction that entails police crime drama/vigilantism/thriller. Character development is good and the editing clean. A very entertaining read.
I wanted it to continue but I finished reading it and wanted more n more n more.
Then I discovered Crispy Critters 2.
I,m going to read it now.
Then I want numbers 3-4-5 etc or just write a long book. Not really a long book(3 feet by 6 feet) but a thick book 700 or more pages. A good weeks work for you n a great long read for me.

Two old guys decide to avenge the victims of pedophiles. Their method is waaaaay outside the law. Yes, it's what some people would love to do in real life, but being as bad (if not worse) than the person you're "punishing" isn't the answer.
Not great character development.
Won't be reading any more of this series.
REVIEW CRISPY CRITTERS
Yesterday I picked up the author's BUZZWORM during a free promotion, then checked out his other books on and bought CRISPY CRITTERS. I read it today just after finishing a mystery for review, which synchronistically focused on a killer targeting rapists, murderers, pedophiles, and perpetrators of domestic violence. Here is a somewhat similar situation the culprits target released sex offenders, those being "reintroduced" (euphemistically) into Society. The kicker is the identity of the culprits---very, very unexpected!! Then, even better, our two revengers cross their own Rubicon, in the form of a convicted and released pedophile, and his vicious whale of a roommate, a psychotic sociopath par excellence. I wish she could have a book of her own (she's a real hair-raiser)!
For them that have never heard the term CRISPY CRITTERS, IT'S the name given by old fire fighters to people who have died in fires . Not being disrespectful. They simply try to find a bit of humor in a bad situation. Two old firefighters have sought to take vengeance in their golden years against really bad people. Not the right thing to do BUT WILL THEY ACTUALLY GET AWAY WITH IT ? I RECOMMEND , I BELIEVE YOU WILL ENJOY !
